Archive of Sanctioned Line Dances

Prior to 2000, line dances at IAGLCWDC Competitions were selected by the hosting club. In 1999 the Dance Competitions Committee adopted the line dance list used during the Saltwater International Dance Competition in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as the official list to be used at the 2000 Annual Championship Dance Competition in Houston, Texas. Thereafter, the Committee began the process of reviewing and revising the list of line dances to be used in all Sanctioned Competitions.

All dances approved since 1999 are listed below, grouped by the year for which they were first approved. Alternately, you may view the dances in a year chart.

Due to the short period of time between conventions that year, it was decided to keep the same dances for 2006.

2008-2009 2008 (11th Annual) Championship Dance Competition, Tampa, Florida 2009 (12th Annual) Championship Dance Competition, Washington, DC At the 2007-2008 semiannual convention in Las Vegas, NV, line dance review and selection was changed to every other odd year, beginning in 2009 at the Washington DC Annual Convention. Thus, all dances selected during the 2007 Annual Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, will be used for two years--2008 and 2009.
